History of the Bus
Our Routemaster is one of the later models, an RML (L standing for lengthened), giving it an extra 3 ft. It was built in 1967 and went into service on route 207a in Hanwell, finishing its working life on route 6 out of Willesden Bus garage, through Queens Park and Marble Arch, including Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar square. It came out of service in March 2004.
The bus now lives in Gloucestershire where it’s available for events and weddings both locally and Nationwide.
